2009 Baptism/Picnic II

Our next scheduled church picnic is AUGUST 2nd.  Spend a lazy afternoon getting to know the folks at 3Rivers a little better.  We will meet at the Armbrust Family YMCA, 5404 S. 168th St. (one block south of 168th & Q) at 1pm.  Please be sure to sign up on the signup sheet on the Welcome Table even if you're doing that on the day of the picnic.  We'll eat right at 1pm and enjoy the pool or games or just talk from 2-4pm.

We will have a baptism service at the pool.  If you want to become a "fully devoted follower of Christ," the first step is to follow Him in water baptism.  This is your public profession of faith. If you have not been baptized as an older child, teen, or adult, we recommend you pick up the pamphlet, "The Importance of Baptism," on the Information Table at church Sunday.  We will be praying about your decision.
