3Rivers Youth Ministries - Philosophy

At 3Rivers Church it is our desire for every youth to have a transforming relationship with Jesus Christ. Each week the youth come to together to learn about Jesus Christ. During their time together the youth are taught age appropriate lessons rooted in Biblical principles. It is our goal that these principles would carry these youth through the entirety of their life.

Events are scheduled throughout the year to pull the youth together and to allow them to interact and enjoy the fellowship with other believers. Parents are encouraged to take part in the annual gatherings such father son, mother daughter events. 3Rivers is committed to the building up of a family, we strive to honor God in our actions and serve a generation that will eventually be called upon to lead.

What Is CRAVE?

Upcoming Schedule:
-January- Biblical look at expectations tor teenagers.
- we will debunk the culture attitude of adolescent sloth.
- we will also do a book study on "Do Hard Things" written by Alex & Brett Harris.

-February- We will continue our study of expectations

Special Events:
-3/20/01 -Rock and Worship Concert
-Artists include, David Crowder Band, Family Force 5, Mercy Me, and other. Cost is $10.00. We will meet at the church and car pool to the concert

-5/15/09- Dinner at Jason and Steph's house.
-We will have a bonfire, make smores and watch movies.

-June- Men's Retreat
-on 3300 acre ranch, in Brewster, NE

-July, Mission Trip

-September, Lifelight Festival
- in Sioux Falls, SD. We will camp the entire weekend in Sioux Falls. We will meet at the church and caravan together.

Why CRAVE?
Students of 3Rivers church voted to have the name CRAVE refer to their youth group in 2009. After receiving several suggestions, the consensus chose CRAVE. This name was chosen to illustrate the unquenchable desire these students felt. A craving of the heart, if you will, to live for God not just in the "church" walls but in the world, so we invite all students to learn about this Jesus Christ that we confess to know.
